What to Expect
Come learn and connect with local agencies offering support and information on physical health, mental health, substance use, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Have questions about affordable housing? An agency will be on-site to help you explore housing resources and options in our community.
Free Health Screenings
Through the Novant Health Remarkable You program, attendees 18 and older can get free health screenings on-site — including blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, and A1C. It's a simple, free way to check in on your health.Our goal is to bring warmth and everyday comfort to individuals experiencing homelessness across Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas — from cold-weather gear to basic hygiene essentials — and everything you donate goes directly to a neighbor in our community who needs it. By bringing our teams and congregation together around this effort, we hope to shine a light on homelessness where we live, and spark a lasting desire to keep helping our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
