Baptism at Central Triad Church in Winston-Salem, NC is an important step of obedience that shows others you have personally trusted Jesus for your salvation. We baptize because Jesus was baptized during His time on earth, and we follow His example.
When a person is baptized at Central Triad Church, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus, then raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe water baptism is a public declaration of three things: that you are a follower of Jesus Christ, that you are beginning a changed life in Him, and that you are part of a new family.
We baptize people of all ages — from children who have reached the age of accountability, meaning they understand what sin is, through adults of any age.
